Neoarctic, Opera

Futuristic chant opera, created by Hotel Pro Forma, is depicting a utopian character of climate change and human life in the far future, where our activity has changed the planet irreversibly.

Stage set works with the existing lighting bridges of the Royal Danish Theater, proposing flexible fabric, acting as backdrop and a floor surface at the same time. This set, combined with projection mapping, different heights and positioning of the backdrop, creates a series of different depths and theatrical worlds.

In addition to scenic design, the assistant team has worked on costume and prop design, video projection compilation and marketing material. Specifically for this opera, we've designed a series of events to promote and engage the audience with different aspects of the show, leading up to the premier.
